Teddy Bear

Now, this guy knows what he is doing. When the media culture applauds a fully waxed, clean baby-skin look, this guy, apparently known as “Teddy Bear” has gone the opposite way—becoming a werewolf instead.
Why? Because in marketing, you have to be different. If your competitor zigs, you have to zag.
(This is why these notes are so short while my peers are thriving on 4000-word posts.)
The rule of the game is to stand out among the rest. Where most people go wrong is they are always scared of going wrong. If my competitor includes five images in his posts, I have to include six. Hold on a second! Why? Are you sure your target audience wants that?
Two things to remember in marketing (always):
Innovative ideas rule. Yes, the whole marketing game relies on the generation of new ideas fast, really fast. Apathy can break your business in a few weeks, not even months.
Numbers say the truth. Nothing is set in stone unless the market says so. Ask your audience what they want, collect the invaluable data, and give them what they want.
Be like a Teddy Bear!
